The hotel's location is ideal for exploring nearby attractions.
Unfortunately, my stay was marred by noise disruptions throughout the night. I could hear every conversation happening outside my room, which made it difficult to get a restful sleep. Additionally, the lack of soundproofing meant my own discussions could be overheard in the hallway, compromising privacy.

Great location near Gion and the Keihan line. Top floor room offered stunning views of the Higashiyama area. The bathroom felt luxurious with a deep bath. Staff greeted me warmly and were really helpful during my stay. However, I noticed some water stains on the ceiling, indicating possible leakage. Also, no breakfast service meant wandering around for cafes each morning. Unfortunately, I heard some noise from the outside which disrupted sleep at times, especially since my room was on the ground floor with limited privacy from the outer wall. Yet, the cleanliness was impeccable and the peaceful atmosphere made it enjoyable overall.

The hotel is perfectly situated right in the heart of Gion, surrounded by beautiful local sights and quaint alleys. It’s just a short stroll to major attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The spacious room had great amenities, and the staff were consistently polite and helpful.
There was some outside noise at night which might disturb light sleepers.
